"Cinnamon Hair Lightener
You will need: ground cinnamon, your fav deep conditioner, conditioning cap, lemon juice. Add 3-4 tablespoons of cinnamon to one cup of your favorite conditioner (or more if your hair is longer). Add about 1 full tablespoon of organic or pure lemon juice (no additives, no sugar, etc.) Mix very well until all ingredients are combined to a smooth mixture. Add the mixture to your hair and using a wide toothed comb, carefully comb the mixture through your tresses. Apply your plastic conditioning cap and leave on overnight. Rinse the cinnamon mixture in the morning and proceed to cowash or shampoo with a no-sulfate poo. The sun will also help to lighten the hair and the mixture can be applied again to achieve the results you want without damaging the hair.

Cinnamon Slip Hair Conditioner
You will need: Ground cinnamon, your favorite conditioner
Add 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon to one cup of your favorite conditioner. Mix very well to ensure the cinnamon is evenly distributed in the mixture. Your conditioner more than likely will change color. Apply to the hair as a cowash, after shampoo wash, etc. Notice that slip? Wait until you rinse. DO NOT leave on the hair for more than 8-10 minutes, as this could alter your natural hair color. The recipe below should be used if attempting to lighten the hair.
